Why Your Routine Won't Stick

There is goals that stick, and some that don't.

The longer we are in this industry, the more we see it. Most people come to us with goals like:

  • lose weight

  • build muscle

  • get leaner

  • feel better in their clothes...

...and so on. And there is nothing wrong with these goals. In fact, its how the majority of us get started.

But the struggle doesn't come with starting a fitness routine... It comes with sticking to one.

And more often than not, it’s not because we're lazy or undisciplined. It’s because our goal doesn’t have enough meaning behind it to carry us through the hard days.

Our motivation comes and goes.
Our energy fluctuates.
Our lives gets busy.

If our main reason for showing up to the gym is aesthetic - or changing the way your body looks - it’s easy for that goal to lose its pull when progress feels sluggish.

There’s nothing wrong with wanting to change your body composition, but aesthetics alone rarely keep us showing up long term.

Purpose does.

Here's what we mean: With our parent clients, we often see a deeper level of commitment when their training is tied to keeping up with, or setting a good example for their children.

When your fitness goal is rooted in a strong purpose, training stops being optional. Instead, it becomes mandatory in supporting the life you want to live.

So if you’ve been struggling to stay consistent, it might be worth asking yourself:

"What am I really training for?"

Because when you why is strong, everything else will start to fall into place.
